tasmania WEST coast + Cradle mountain Landscape Photography Tour
2025 dates coming soon, 7 days/6 nights
Tasmania’s West Coast is full of intrigue and history…. we will spend 7 days exploring the wilds of north western Tasmania, including the ancient Tarkine rainforest: the greatest expanse of cool temperate rainforest in Australia, the ruggest West Coast scenery, and the majestic mountains and pristine wilderness of Cradle Mountain.
Weather is ever-changing so be prepared to shoot in cold, hot, windy, rainy and even perhaps snowy conditions!
This amazing itinerary includes stunning locations like:
Queenstown
Arthur River
The Tarkine
Cradle Mountain and Dove Lake
Nelson Falls
Philosophers Canyon and much more!
Starting and ending in Hobart, I will be on hand to guide you further on your photography journey, assisting with composition and camera settings, the use of filters, and how to set up a shot. Alternatively, I can just facilitate experiencing new locations and leave you to explore your own to photograph as you wish.
Including private single accommodation each night, and a maximum of 5 guests on the tour, there’s no better way to explore this majestic and breathtaking landscape.

WHO DOES THIS TOUR SUIT?
FITNESS LEVEL: This tour requires a medium level of fitness. I have had participants in their 70s enjoy the walks. Most walks are easy and some just a few minutes long, up to a couple of hours. Walking can be on uneven and rocky ground at times, and include stairs. There are usually other options if you decide not to walk as far as others.
PHOTOGRAPHY LEVEL: This tour suits photographers of every level, beginner to expert. This is a photo tour and is not a formal workshop. Wanda is available to assist with tips and tricks, help you set up and understand the best compositions, and guide you in the use of your own filters. You can shoot alongside Wanda to learn about her thought process and filter use, or have some time with her just using your camera and gear.
